FATHOM
Elevate your sales conversations
What if all your team’s customer calls are recorded and transcribed in a single, searchable location?
What if you Show, not tell, with playlists of what “good” sounds like? What if metrics help identify who needs help and who is outperforming?
What if you'd be alerted to important moments weekly, daily or in real-time?
What if we Align team members by organizing and sharing key moments from customer calls?
What if you could have a unified view of all conversations with a customer or prospect?
What if you simplify the handoff from sales to success and never lose any context if a team member departs?
Most critically, what if you could Reduce the time your team spends on data entry with automated post-call data syncs? These include BANT, SPICED, and MEDDPICC, which automatically generate post-meeting data and sync it to the CRM.
Fathom can do this and more!

THOUGHTS
What am I seeing this Week: From Mayo Factory to SDR
The purple isn’t a stain, its an exposure issue!
Most people are new to the newsletter and to me, so I wanted to give you quick background about myself as a way of reintroducing myself and to let you know how I went from working in a mayonnaise factory to being an SDR.
I moved back to the Netherlands in 2013 with the €500 I received when I wrote off my car, thanks to forgetting the old adage 'Deer caught in headlights'. Those Deer did not move one bit...
I had an excellent friend, Remy, who took me in and stayed at their place while I figured out what I wanted to do with my life.
All I knew was that the Netherlands was where I wanted to live.
Over several months, I bumped around in different jobs, working at the local mayonnaise factory and picking clothes at a factory.
Finding a job was difficult, especially as my prior experience had been coaching Rugby and in education. Finding a 'proper job' in a foreign country was hard.
I will never forget when a recruiter messaged me about this mysterious role called a 'Business Development Representative'. Initially, I was super nervous, thinking I'd not be good at the role.
But she took a stab at me, saying, 'You definitely do not have the experience, but you have such great qualities, you'd be perfect for the role.'
What was it that she took a chance? It was a combination of being able to articulate complex problems simply and my ability to speak with confidence.
It was so powerful that someone took a chance with me, and that started my pathway to being in tech sales.
Your journey is unique. Ensure you celebrate it!

STAKKI
Overwhelmed by Sales Tools Options?
Sales tools often boast an alphabet soup of features.
Deciphering complicated technical jargon can be time-consuming and frustrating, leaving you confused and unsure if it will help with connection or conversion rates.
Meanwhile, researching, comparing, and evaluating sales tools can be highly time-consuming.
Diverting your focus from core business activities like closing deals and managing your team.
This is where we’ve built Stakki, your free sales tool calculator.
We mapped 176 tools and their integrations, minimum costs, feature overlaps and freemium options.
INTERVIEW
Five Questions of the Week: Cristina Szakal
This week we have SDR Leaders of EMEA community member and new founder (congratulations!) of 3Momentum, Cristina Szakal! Cristina is going to discuss how she came into sales, and the transitions she needed to make moving to a different country and culture. Enjoy!
Hey Cristina, Firstly, tell me a little bit about your journey. How did you end up at this point?
I moved from Romania to London almost 14 years ago to make my own life. I've always loved London and its culture. I've worked hard to create the life I want. I've worked in hospitality, business development and sales, and I've always loved connecting with people and building relationships. When I first came to London, I didn't speak English and had to push myself to learn and adapt to a new place. It hasn't been easy, but I'm proud of who I am today and how I've settled in the UK. I'm determined to keep working hard and growing my career.
What is it about Sales that you love?
I enjoy working in sales because it's challenging and dynamic. If you're not passionate about it, customers can sense it and won't buy from you. You must be flexible and always ready to learn and grow because everything somehow involves sales.
When did you realise that leadership was the career path you wanted to follow, and how did you make it happen?
Along with sales, I am also very interested in personal development and coaching. I've always enjoyed helping others grow and acknowledging their achievements. Being a part of someone else's success gives me a sense of purpose.
Drawing on all your experiences so far, what advice would you give your younger self on their first day as a manager?
Keep learning & don’t be afraid to ask for help. Be patient with yourself and listen more than you speak.
With AI looking to disrupt the SDR space, what do you see the role of the SDR evoloving in the next 36 months?
SDRs will have more time to authentically engage with prospects, build meaningful relationships, and take a more strategic approach.
